What's New at Traide
Faster catalog search, powered by Algolia
Search is how most buyers find anything in a large multivendor catalog, so it has been rebuilt on firmer ground.
- A first-class Algolia integration, rather than a periodic export: your catalog is synced and kept current.
- Secured, per-marketplace search keys are issued through your shop's search configuration, so your storefront can query search directly from the browser without ever shipping a key that can write.
- Sync problems are visible. Where a stalled sync used to look exactly like "nothing changed", the dashboard now surfaces sync problems explicitly, with operator maintenance actions to reindex or repair without a support ticket.
Underneath, Traide also gained a full-text search foundation used for rank-ordered searching across orders and customers, so dashboard search returns the most relevant record rather than the first match.
Rolling out
The Algolia-backed storefront search experience is being rolled out in stages — the sync, configuration and monitoring described here are live now, and the storefront-side search and merchandising follow. Your Traide representative will confirm timing for your marketplace.
